GLOBE 2016 – NATIONAL PR’s Day 3 Update

The long-running Globe Leadership Summit and Innovation Expo took place in Vancouver last week. As North America’s largest international environmental business summit, more than 2,000 delegates from over 50 countries descended on Vancouver to network, attend speeches and panels and share insights on the business of the environment.

Following COP21 in Paris, this year’s GLOBE program focused largely on how to turn Paris’ policy commitments into concrete actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through business and clean technology solutions. On the government side of the equation, Prime Minister Trudeau and Canada’s premiers emerged from the March 3 First Ministers Meeting with the Vancouver Declaration on Clean Growth and Climate Change, which initiates a process to deliver a concrete Canadian plan to reduce emissions and meet our COP21 commitments.

NATIONAL Public Relations is pleased to provide a daily briefing on GLOBE 2016. Our coverage of day three, the final day of the conference, focuses on clean technology, an innovative and fast-growing sector of the Canadian economy.
